At Let’s TALK, therapy is about more than meeting milestones, it’s about helping kids develop the skills they need to thrive. Through speech, feeding, and occupational therapy, we support your child’s growth in communication, daily activities, and overall independence.
Speech & Language Therapy
Speech and language therapy helps children build essential communication & social skills. Therapy will support age-appropriate communication and confident interaction at home, in school, and socially.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps children build the skills they need for everyday life. From self-care to focusing at school to managing big emotions, occupational therapy supports independence, confidence, and growth.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
AAC involves finding the right tools to unlock the world of communication for children who are non-speaking communicators or need assistance communicating. From low-tech to high-tech, we will tailor a personalized system for your child.
Feeding Therapy
Feeding therapy for kids addresses feeding and swallowing challenges related to picky eating, sensory aversion, breastfeeding, cleft lip/palate, weaning from tube feeding, and other medical feeding disorders.

Let’s TALK Pediatric Therapy was founded by Alyssa Shah, M.S. CCC-SLP, a pediatric speech therapist who is passionate about building connections and helping children unlock their potential. Alyssa started Let’s TALK to provide high-quality and evidence-based therapy to children in her community. The Let’s TALK team of pediatric speech and occupational therapists believes therapy should be fun, engaging, and focused on the unique needs of every child and family they work with.
The Let’s TALK team also recognizes the importance of parent involvement and honoring family values. Speech, feeding, and occupational therapy at Let’s TALK focuses on the whole child while partnering with parents to help each child develop skills that will carry over into daily life.

We provide speech, feeding, and occupational therapy to children of all ages in Hoffman Estates, IL.
Let’s Talk
Contact us, and we can discuss your concerns, answer any questions, and determine if a speech, language, AAC, feeding, or occupational therapy evaluation is recommended.
Evaluate
Participate in an evaluation where we will learn more about your child’s strengths and challenges. We will review the results together and create an individualized treatment plan and goals.
Begin Therapy
One-on-one therapy sessions take place in our family-friendly clinic. Speech sessions are 45 minutes and OT sessions are 60 minutes. Progress will be monitored and shared regularly to ensure your child is meeting their goals.
Insurance & Billing
Let’s TALK Pediatric Therapy is an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ascension/AMITA Health Care Network, Cigna, United Health Care, and HMO Providers: Duly Health & Ascension/AMITA Health plans. See our helpful information tab for a full listing of insurance plans. We also offer competitive private pay rates if you do not have insurance or are out-of-network.
