Speech & Feeding Therapy Services for Children

Providing family-centered and play-based private speech and feeding therapy for kids of all ages in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Evaluations

We will begin with a comprehensive evaluation based on your concerns and your child’s needs. Evaluations allow the speech therapist to develop an understanding of your child's strengths, preferences, and needs related to communication and/or feeding. Evaluations typically include:

  • Parent interview

  • An observation of your child engaged in play or an activity

  • Formal and/or informal assessments

After the evaluation, we will review the results with you, and together, we will develop a therapy plan and goals.

Our Approach to Therapy

Our journey together will begin with taking time to get to know your child and develop a trusting relationship. Every session will be tailored to your child’s goals, interests, and current mood and energy level.

As every child is different, so is every speech and feeding therapy session. We will use games, play, books, movement (climbing, jumping, scooter boards, obstacle courses), and other motivating activities to engage your child in the learning process.

Parents are encouraged to participate in our sessions, and time will be dedicated to talking about what we are working on and how you can build practice into your daily routines at home.
